Finest Restorations and Detailing Services was established from a family’s love for Australian Muscle cars spanning three generations. What started as a passion, quickly turned into a part-time hobby and has now transformed into one of the leading and most reputable restoration and detailing workshops in the country.

Owner and operator Chris Pikis is a 3^rd generation specialist automotive refurbisher. Like his father, he grew up around cars, attending family outings to swap meets and car events all over Australia which grew his dedication to the trade evolving him from a painter to a technical representative, training other colleagues within the trade.

Chris’ father, Nicholas Pikis is a very well-known and respected figure in the automotive smash industry. He has passed on many of his skills and talents to his son over the years including an undisputable vehicle build portfolio that includes incredible attention to detail and a collection of the most realistic tribute cars built to date.

The Pikis family’s love and passion for cars started when Chris’ grandfather came to Australia in 1969 and worked as a spray painter and panel beater. Chris was fortunate enough to spend time with his grandfather and obtain a bank of knowledge on historic and desirable Australian Muscle cars.

All of our staff are trade qualified craftsmen in the art of Automotive paint refinish and Automotive body repairs.

Staff are regularly trained in all aspects of the trade including the stringent Finest Restorations methods when it comes to attention to detail, high end refinish, body repairs and detailing techniques.
